简介：Elastica 是一支英国乐队，最初成员包括：Justine Frischmann (主唱，吉他)，Donna Matthews (吉他/伴唱)，Annie Holland (贝斯)，Justin Welch (鼓手)。 在英国，Elastica 被认为是 New Wave of New Wave 的发起者之一。歌曲题材非常贴近生活，从友谊到爱情，都是他们吟咏的对象。
Frischmann 在伦敦大学学习时，曾以吉他手的身份参加过一些乐队，包括 Suede。1992年，Justine 发起创建了 Elastica。Welch 来自 Nuneaton，12岁时就参加过一些大学中的乐队，Justine在的Suede发展时曾合作合作录音一次，后参加 Spitfire，92年加入 Elastica。
